Description:

This internship is part of the Spring 2026 Professional Internship Program. To be eligible for the program you must:

  • Be enrolled as an SUU student during the course of the internship.
  • Have and maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Be willing to work 10 to 20 hours per week.

Students will shoot all/most athletic home events. Other assignments include but are not limited to home games, uniform reveals, Intro Videos, Mic'd Up, sponsor elements and more. Learning about DI Athletics while getting hands-on experience with video and social media, professional communication and various creative elements are a few of the obtained skills through this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Students will be required to work all/most home athletic events. These events typically fall on nights and weekends.
  • Interns will be in charge of specific sports/shoots and must have the ability to think creatively, communicate properly and finalize projects in a quick manner.

Qualifications:

  • Interns should be enrolled within a creative arts/sports comm degree. This includes but is not limited to: Comm, Sports Comm, Marketing and Film. If your major is not listed, some type of previous work in the industry is typically required.
  • Students must have their own equipment and editing software.
